Why you should play Sion
Sion is a versatile champion who can be played as a tank or an AD bruiser. His playstyle revolves around calculated aggression, using his abilities to control the battlefield and his passive to remain a threat even in death. He excels at split-pushing and creating map pressure, forcing the enemy team to respond to his constant threat.

Q
WThis is Sion's bread-and-butter trading combo. Start by slowing the enemy with your E, which makes it easier to land a fully charged Q. While charging your Q, activate your W to shield yourself from incoming damage. After your Q hits, detonate your W for extra damage and follow up with an auto-attack.
R + W + Q + E + Auto Combo
RWQEThis is your all-in combo. Engage with your ultimate, and right before you hit the enemy, press R again to deal AoE damage and knock them up. While in your ultimate, activate your W to shield yourself. After the knock-up, immediately follow up with a fully charged Q, then slow them with E and finish with an auto-attack.
Tips & Tricks
Abilities
PWhen you die, use your passive to clear waves or deal damage to champions. Learning to auto-attack move is crucial to maximizing its effectiveness. Use your speed boost when you're out of range of the enemy to close the gap, but be wary of crowd control.
QAlways charge your
Q for as long as possible to maximize its damage. If you're interrupted by crowd control while charging, your Q will go on a 2-second cooldown, which you can use to surprise enemies. Use the fog of war to your advantage to land fully charged Qs.
WUse your
W to block as much damage as possible, but also make sure to detonate it to deal damage to enemies.
EUse your
E to set up your other abilities. Slowing enemies with your E makes it easier to land yourQ and ultimate.
RPress R again right before you hit an enemy to maximize the AoE damage and knock-up.
