Master Tier Champion Guide
Quinn is a highly mobile Assassin AD Carry whose identity is defined by her unparalleled map control and dueling prowess. She excels at creating pressure across the map with her ultimate, Behind Enemy Lines (R), which grants her some of the highest movement speed in the game. This allows her to split push effectively and quickly rotate to fights, creating number advantages for her team. Her simple mechanics and versatile build paths make her a strong choice for players who want to focus on macro strategy and carry games through superior map awareness and timely rotations. One of the best 1v1 duelists, capable of taking on the strongest duelists like Jax, Fiora, Tryndamere with her Blinding Assault.
High Agency and Early Impact: Quinn has a strong early game and excellent combat power from Levels 1-5, making it easy to gain leads and influence the map.
Global Mobility/Map Pressure: Her ultimate provides insane movement speed, allowing her to put pressure on side lanes and quickly rotate to objectives.
Versatility and Anti-Tank Options: She can adapt her runes and build path dramatically (Crit, Lethality, DPS) to ensure she has strong 1v1 potential against any opponent.
Vulnerability to CC/Burst: As a high-speed, squishy champion, she is easily countered by unexpected CC or burst damage and can get caught when split pushing without proper mental awareness.
Vault (E) Dependency: Misusing Vault (E) offensively after Level 1 against champions with gap closers (like Darius E) can lead to immediate death, as E must often be saved for a reactive counter-engage.
Early Roam Penalty: Roaming too frequently with R Level 1 is discouraged because the movement speed increase is not high enough yet, making failed roams extremely punishing in terms of lost lane resources.
The laning phase on Quinn is defined by aggression, harassment, and precise ability usage to ensure you gain an early advantage.
Be Aggressive: You must be AGGRESSIVE early. Use Press the Attack (PTA) to punish opponents who trade with you.
Bush Cheese: At Level 1, wait in the top bush. Quinn's Harrier passive will ONLY mark enemy champions if you are hiding in a bush, allowing for an easy first trade.
Harrier Management: All throughout the laning phase, try to position so that when your Harrier passive is about to come off cooldown, it marks the enemy champion instead of a minion.
Safe Q Poke: Use your Blinding Assault (Q) constantly to poke, especially when the enemy is going for a last hit.
Level 1 Vault: You can use Vault (E) aggressively at Level 1 because most opponents won't have their gap closer yet.
Levels 2+ Caution: After Level 2, only use Vault (E) reactively. Save E to counter an enemy's dash or pull (
E.g., Darius's Apprehend or Lee Sin's Q).
Basic Trade Combo: Auto Attack → Vault (E) → Auto Attack can proc two Harrier marks and apply decent damage and follow-up movement speed. If running PTA, follow up with one more auto to trigger the full damage.
Sustain Matchups: In poke lanes, consider running Fleet Footwork for healing and movement speed to juke skillshots (like Gnar Q or Gangplank Q).
Quinn’s mid and late game success relies on utilizing her mobility to create map pressure and executing precise, disruptive team fight maneuvers.
The Split Mindset: Quinn should keep her gameplay 80% focused on split pushing (strategic split) and intelligently joining fights. Your primary goal is to carry the game on the split.
Optimal Timing: Use Behind Enemy Lines (R) to quickly fly back to lane after basing to avoid losing CS. After getting a kill or forcing an opponent (like Ornn) to base/die, the side lane is a perfect window to hard push because they cannot defend.
Prioritize Pressure: Focus on achieving a 'triple kill's worth of gold' by getting Tier 2 towers and multiple waves. Creating pressure is highly valued, especially in lower ELOs where enemies often do not respond effectively to split pushers.
Gaining Awareness: When split pushing, maintain extreme mental awareness to avoid getting caught. Before pushing a wave, quickly check the minimap to analyze where the enemies are (jungle tracking).
Flanking is Key: The best way to engage in team fights is by flanking. Loop around the main fight, using R to position safely before going in.
Target Selection: Your goal is to track the squishy backline (ADCs, Mages) and find windows to get picks.
Pressure Magnet: By flanking, you become a 'magnet', drawing enemy pressure (like tanks/supports) away from the main skirmish. Even if you run away, this creates a numbers advantage for your team.
E Conservation: Be very cautious with how you use Vault (E) in team fights; save it as long as you can.

GeneralRune Versatility: Quinn can run many keystones. Press the Attack is great for short trades. Phase Rush is highly effective against champions with heavy slows (like Nasus Wither or Olaf Q) because it grants 75% slow resistance.
QBlinding Assault (Q) can cancel enemy lock-on abilities (including Mordekaiser R, Garen R, or Nasus W) if the target leaves vision (is nearsighted) when the ability tries to go off.
EVault (E) can interrupt nearly any dash or jump, including Jax Q, Tryndamere E, Wukong E, and Renekton E's second dash. Against Garen, E can cancel the damage and silence of his Decisive Strike (Q).
With smurf timing, Vault (E) can cancel certain powerful channeled ultimates, such as Poppy R and Ornn R2.
WConsuming a Harrier mark grants 40% movement speed. Use this passive speed to run down low-HP targets or juke incoming skillshots.
Summoners
Always take Flash. Ignite is recommended in most lanes to win easier, giving you an edge over opponents who take Teleport. Only take TP against major tanks or neutralizers.
Macro Itemization
The Ghostblade rush is highly recommended for macro-focused gameplay, as it provides the zoom speed needed to push lanes and rotate quickly.
Wave Clear
Statikk Shiv provides excellent wave clear, which is crucial for holding the lane against shoves and setting up roam timers.
Tank Shredding
When building against stacking tanks, prioritize a critical build path, often rushing items like Lord Dominik's Regards as a third item to shred armor.
