
Master Tier Champion Guide
Cassiopeia is a front-to-back DPS mage who excels in extended fights against short-range compositions. You should play Cassiopeia if you enjoy a high-skill-cap champion who can shred through tanks and melees, becoming a formidable late-game carry. Her kit is designed around consistently landing her poison and spamming her Twin Fang to deal relentless damage. Mastering Cassiopeia requires precise kiting, mana management, and the ability to land her game-changing ultimate to control team fights.

Vulnerable to gank setup and long-range CC due to immobility.

Level 1 (
E-Start): Focus on securing wave priority using the E auto trick for mana refund. Avoid using too much mana on the opponent.
Level 2 (
Q Start): Start harassing with Q when the opponent is going for CS. Use the movement speed defensively or to bait skill shots.
Mana Conservation: Be conservative with mana until you have two points in E, especially against champions with high sustain.
If you save W for their engage, you generally win the trade and outscale them post-Level 4.
Against champions like Syndra, Lux, or Azir, focus on Q spamming when they CS and use the movement speed to dodge their abilities. Avoid aggressive pursuits.
Against champions like Fizz or LeBlanc, consider a more defensive build (like Rod of Ages) or Resolve secondary runes to survive their burst. Be wary of ganks.
Commitment Timing: Wait for enemy cooldowns to be used and for your team to engage before committing forward to deal damage.
Flash Ultimate (
R-Flash): Use R-Flash to secure a guaranteed stun on a priority target or to apply a mass slow to win a team fight.
DPS Focus: Once the primary threats have used their cooldowns on others, you are free to move forward and DPS.
Front-to-Back: Always strive to stand behind a tank or bruiser.
Awareness: Be highly aware of key enemy CC and threats. Do not commit until these abilities have been used.
W Usage: Be careful with W's long cooldown. Save it to stop a key diver or to create an escape path.

QUse the movement speed from hitting a champion to dodge skill shots, chase, or bait abilities.
Time Q with enemy CS attempts to harass.
Q can be used to check bushes for enemy presence.
WThe cooldown is long; often best to hold W defensively against dash champions to counter their engage.
Cast it further away for a larger zone of control.
EUse Auto + E simultaneously on low health minions for mana refund and easier last hitting.
Weave in Auto attacks between E casts in the early game for extra damage and faster Conqueror stacking.
R
R can be buffered through any CC; Cassiopeia will avoid the CC at the end of the animation.
The distance created after R is perfect for a guaranteed Q hit.
Use R-Flash for surprise engagements or hide the animation by weaving it into other abilities.
