Note: Be wary that he CAN use his W to cancel out your ultimate, if he's doing this non-reactively, it's most likely going to happen when you'd think he'd be going for an R2.

Be wary of his triple brittle lethal combo as it can absolutely melt your HP, ideally you want to just wait until you can get your Rylai's and then use your E WHILE being relatively healthy, if you are not, recall. From this, two situations should happen: 1. He uses his W for your E, if this scenario happens then just press R on top of him and then run him down.

If there's a lot of room to chase him down forever, you can save your ultimate for when he uses his ultimate and deny his R2. 2. He doesn't use his W for your E, if this scenario happens then you should try to extend the trade for as long as possible, the only thing he can do now is to try and triple brittle combo you and attempt to burst you down, however since you're both around full HP, he will eventually no longer have any extra forms of damage to kill you with and you should just be able to kill him.

Most of the time, you want to try to be in the sidelane against an Ornn so he can't play towards his win condition of fighting 5v5's, but even if you do want to fight 5v5's, it's still pretty good for you because you can deny his R2 onto your teammates with your own ultimate. I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Ghost + Flash.

Note: Garen's E deals more damage to the nearest target, so either E him behind you or just walk into the wave to mitigate the damage.

Basically the same thing as Camille, but significantly easier: as long as you do not troll your first three levels, there is no POSSIBLE way you can lose this. If you are running Shield Bash and bone plating, you can even potentially look for a solo kill level 3 if your W is up. Some Garen players are stupid enough to run in, E the wave, and expect to live another day.

However, with the additional damage provided from cut down and shield bash, it's just a free kill if he ever walks up like that. Also, the reason why I like to run cut down vs. last stand into Garen is because his ultimate is an execute. Just wait for level 6 to fight if you're using magical footwear + approach velocity and just E his E and you should be fine.

I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Ignite + Flash if you're going shield bash or Ghost with Flash if you're going magical footwear.

Note: Use Your E AFTER he dashes. Also you can steal more stats if you ult AFTER he ults, it really helps with reducing his damage which therefore will reduce his omnivamp.

Level 1, you CAN seize priority over the lane as long as you keep on hitting the minions and spacing out his Q's. Level up W level 2, and if he ever is stupid enough to E forwards onto you: trade onto him and back off after using your shield bash. Level 3 onwards, you want to wait until he uses HIS dash first before you use YOUR E, you should be able to win trades AS LONG as you are able to get long trades in AND space out his Q's correctly to bait out his E.

This gets WAY more easier level 6 when you can combo your E + your R after he dashes for a free kill.

Once you get bramble: Your main goal is to try and get as physically close to him as possible because this will force him to either:

1. Not use his passive against you and die as he tries to whittle you down with non-sweet-spotted Q's and his pitiful W damage.

2. Use his passive against you, reduce his own healing, and die anyways.

Remember: His damage falls off based on when he can Q at his effective ranges while your damage stays relatively static, so try and abuse that fact, and move accordingly.

I'd recommend going Doran's Ring along with Ignite + Flash.

Note: DON'T DIE EARLY OR GET CHEESED. He can E+R you to deny your W, so try to W his AA -> W -> Q combo. Also try ulting him when he has stacks of his passive onto you so that you can YOINK more AD.

This is a matchup that's personally a bit of a roadblock, but it's very playable if you're good. Level 1 try to get bush control and deny him from early cheesing onto you, if he walks up: Q him and then walk away. You should be able to win level 1 with this newly acquired health deficit.

After that, try to stay outside of his range as much as possible and force him to use his E to do his AA -> W -> Q combo, and then you can do a VERY small trade with Q and then E him away. As long as you are able to deny the outer edge from one of his Q's with flash or ignite or rocketbelt or spacing with Rylai's, you should theoretically be able to win the long trade. I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Flash + Ignite.

Note: His empowered W can completely shatter your W, therefore save your W until AFTER he's used his.

Before level 6, your main goal in this lane is to try and save your E until after HE uses his dash, otherwise just spam Q on top of him. If he's able to E -> Q -> E2 away before you are able to retaliate, then he will win the short trades. However, Mordekaiser should theoretically be able to win long trades IF you are able to force him to do a long trade with you whether by landing your E or getting level 6 and using your ultimate.

However way you find yourself in a 1v1 death match, you have both now agreed to play a game of patience (A fight you should win assuming you started the fight relatively healthy): Whoever presses W first will lose the fight. This is because if you W first, and he uses his empowered W to break your shield, well you have no more survivability, so you're dead. BUT if HE presses his W first, then he will no longer have a way to break down your massive shield and he'll be dead.

This matchup just boils down to if you can start a long fight against him while you are healthy. Additionally: If you need to proc your shield bash damage but the Renekton has 50% rage for an empowered W, you should instantly recast your shield instead of keeping it so that you can have some value from your W as opposed to no value. I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Ignite + Flash.

Note: He CAN use his ultimate to cancel your ultimate but this requires VERY specific timing.

Get priority, shove the wave, play for the bounce back, rebound the wave, recall, get your items, and just rinse and repeat until you've reached Rylai's. You don't really have that much kill threat until your very first item, but neither does he. Once you finally DO get Rylai's, it's just a simple matter of landing one E, and if you are able to do that, you can just completely run him down with your movement speed + the Rylai's slow.

You can use your ultimate if you think he's about to get away. That's basically it. I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Ghost + Flash.

Note: If Shen's spirit blade hits at least one champion (usually happens after he dashes), he gets bonus attack speed. Look to press R onto him during this time so that you can YOINK more attack speed away.

You should try getting priority into this lane, crash the second wave, let one wave push back into you, shove the next one, recall and then just let the wave push back into you for a freeze. From here, you want to try to harass the Shen as much as possible with your range advantage. Once you're both level 6, you want to try and keep the Shen under his turret for as long as possible so that if he ults out to help out his teammates, he'll lose out on minions and you'll get platings.

Also ping as much as possible that there is a Shen on the enemy team. There's practically no world where Shen can solo kill a Mordekaiser unless you manage to miss every single one of your abilities which becomes impossible once you've gained Rylai's. In terms of mid-game stuff, just push out side lanes and outvalue him in teamfights and you should be fine.

I recommend going Doran's Ring with Ghost + Flash.

Note: Zaahen's ultimate CAN cancel Mordekaiser ultimate since it's an unstoppable, so try and wait for him to use it first. Also try to ult him after his initial combo so that he can stack up his passive and you can steal more %AD to try and burst him down.

Level 1, let him get priority and wait for level 2 to start playing the game. Level 2 onwards, go beat the ever living PISS out of him every time that man goes for farm. Try to back off right before his passive fully stacks so that you don't get Zaahen'd; he revives and instantly kills you.

Your goal, similarly to someone like Warwick is to try and poke him down and run away before he can get an all-in against you. Essentially speaking, you're playing guerilla warfare; never fight fair; only commit to the all-in when you know you can burst him down (Whether that be when you see a lethal range onto him or when you're just stupid fed). Oh, also try to buffer your Q into his W -> Shield bash AA him -> walk away anytime he tries to engage on top of you with his pull.

I'd recommend going Doran's Ring with Ignite + Flash.
