This is a skill-expressive matchup but always slightly Yone favored. The goal is to punish him when he commits.

General Strategy

(Focus is on counter-engagement and dodging).

Trading Patterns

Yone can cast Q3 (knock-up) from maximum range, which you cannot respond to with E. If he knocks you up with Q3, you normally want to E forwards. Yone's E2 (return to clone) is Unstoppable. If Yone uses his W (Spirit Cleave), he gains a small shield; do not trade into the shield. When Yone casts R (Sealed Fate), use your E behind you, as that is where he will end up.

Yone wins by successfully casting Q3 from max range. He wins if he understands his E2 is Unstoppable and can use it to cancel your E or R2.
