General Strategy
Poppy is a difficult airborne matchup because she can cancel your dash. You must use your E reactionarily. Rush Black Cleaver.
Trading Patterns
Poppy's W (Steadfast Presence) denies all dashes from entering the area, but if you are already inside the circle, you can cast E and grab her. Poppy E has priority over your E if used incorrectly; use your E reactively. You must step on her passive buckler to deny her shield. Poppy's R (ultimate, full charge) is bufferable: if she is casting a full-charge R, press E and you will return to your original position.
