Your Win Condition

You should realistically never lose the 1v1 against Gragas. The goal is to deny his short trades.

General Strategy

Gragas is highly annoying because he usually runs Phase Rush and has high sustain. You can buffer every CC Gragas has. Rush Black Cleaver to win against tank Gragas.

Trading Patterns

If Gragas E's into you, use your E forwards and grab him through the animation. If he uses his ultimate (R, barrel bomb), press E in the direction he is flying to grab him through the animation. If he uses Phase Rush, do not play into his combo; if he E's you and walks away with W, you've lost the trade.

Gragas wins by utilizing Phase Rush to walk away before you can unleash your full damage combo. He also has better sustain than you.
