Kill him early by dodging his

W, similar to the strategy against Malphite. Win short trades.
Mordekaiser Win Condition
Hitting hisQ initially or hitting his
W (which pulls you in). Proc'ing his passive faster after three hits.
General Strategy
You need to be one hit up on minions, maybe two, at all times. It is highly recommended to tell your jungler to try and gank top early. You need to try and kill him early. W to block his auto attacks during short trades, as his passive procs faster after three hits, which is dangerous.
Trading Patterns
When Mordekaiser walks up to a minion to 
Q you, instead of trying to last hit, walk upwards in a path and then go downwards before you last hit. This makes hisQ miss, and you can then taunt him and trade. You should be able to win all trades as long as you don't get hit by his initial Q and hisW pull.
Wave Management
Be one or two hits up on minions at all times.
