Quinn Win Condition
Your main goal is to bait out and exploit the long cooldown of her
W (Twilight Shroud), which is 20 seconds. You should aim to dominate the lane aggressively from level one to five. Post-six, successfully dodging her
E (Shuriken Flip) is paramount.
Akali Win Condition
Akali wins by landing herE, which allows her to dash right on top of you for her full rotation and subsequent R2 execute.
General Strategy
Play as aggressively as possible early in the lane (1-5). When you reach level six, be extremely careful. When she ults, do not panic; your entire focus must shift to dodging herE, perhaps by staying behind a large minion wave so she hits a minion instead.
Building Wits End is highly recommended for magic resistance and survivability against her combo. Look to roam heavily once you hit six.
Trading Patterns
Try to bait herW aggressively, perhaps by using your
E on her when you are not under threat of dying, forcing her to shroud defensively. Once her W is down, be super aggressive for the next 20 seconds, denying her CS and breathing room. Akali's
Q has very short range, so kite backward to avoid it. If she lands herE on you, use your E immediately after to push back and create distance.
Wave Management
Slow push the wave and create a large crash so you can look for roams while she is stuck clearing.
