Win the level three all-in if he commits outside of a bush.
General Strategy
Give him priority early game. Hold your level one ward to place in the third lane bush just before he starts pushing. Avoid making the lane volatile 1-2.
Trading Patterns
This matchup is generally Rengar favored because he can shout/kite your axes. Take only short trades (Q, auto, E, click away). If he jumps onto you and is far from a bush, hit Q, pop Ghost, and run him down. Do not get both champions low HP, as this benefits Warwick (Source reference issue, assuming it meant Rengar in context of 1v1 melee).
Wave Management
Let him push you in early.
