Secure extended trades. Gain a resource/item advantage by basing early.
General Strategy
D-Blade, Ignite, and Flash. If he takes Ignite, the lane is heavily Renekton favored; if he takes TP, it is slightly in your favor. Rush Tabi's. Play relatively passive during the dangerous level four to six window.
Trading Patterns
You need to constantly hit the wave to life steal HP back. If he Q's forward, run him down. If he E's, Q/Auto him (he will double dash away). Use Q/walk towards him, and then E/click backwards to bait and space out his W. Be careful of his empowered W breaking your shield.
Wave Management
Get priority no matter what. Always go for a two-wave crash. Recall quite early to reset resources and gain a Long Sword/Refillable advantage.
Their Win Condition
Landing the full combo burst with empowered W and Ignite. His ultimate at level six makes that timer terrifying. Ignite makes the lane significantly harder.
