Your Win Condition
Wait for Akshan to push the wave into your side and then, with the safety of a long lane, hit your axe and commit to the extended trade.
General Strategy
You want Doran's Shield, Ghost, and Flash. Rush Ninja Tabi, followed by Stridebreaker. You must heavily utilize bush control to avoid poke and maintain high HP. Let him push you in. Play the lane like you are 'fishing': if you hit the axe, pop Ghost and commit; if you miss, wait for the next opportunity.
Trading Patterns
Avoid trying for a big level one all-in unless he makes a major spacing mistake. The focus is the extended trade, but you must maintain high HP early. If you get too low while the wave is pushing, you will miss your opportunity to abuse the long lane when the wave is near your turret.
Wave Management
Let him push you in. Conserve health and give up a few minions if necessary. Wait for the wave to be near your tower when you are level two (QW) or level three to maximize the long trade opportunity.
Their Win Condition
Akshan wins by gaining priority and poking you down. He prevents your all-in by reducing your HP early, meaning you cannot capitalize on the long lane when it arrives.
