Jax Win Condition
Jax aims to relentlessly jump on Mordekaiser whenever his
Q (Leap Strike) is available. If Jax chooses the Lethal Tempo keystone, his win condition is greatly enhanced, as the combined attack speed from Lethal Tempo and his passive makes winning the sustained fight "way too difficult" for Mordekaiser. Furthermore, if Jax utilizes Ignite, his early game kill pressure becomes significantly worse for Mordekaiser.
General Strategy
The strategy varies based on Jax’s keystone choice. If he takes Lethal Tempo, you should immediately rush Bramble Vest. This choice is primarily for the armor it provides, combined with the reflected damage gained every time he auto attacks you, which happens frequently in a fight. If he takes Grasp, his all-in power is reduced.
It is essential to always have your
W (Indestructible) available when Jax jumps onto you, as you are likely to lose the exchange without it. While you can attempt to use your

Jax will consistently look to initiate trades using hisQ. YourW must be ready to absorb damage and ensure you win the exchange. Post-six, the ultimate trading pattern is key: you should utilize your ultimate when Jax activates his Counter Strike (E). Activating 
R when his passive is fully stacked ensures you steal maximum attack speed, enhancing your combat prowess in the duel.
