General Strategy
3Q>E max Give Kled an extreme amount of respect pre six. You can actually cs normally for the first wave is you try to bait out his q. Just remember you want the wave pushing to you since his level two is much stronger than yours. Respect his level two spikes. Do not dismount Kled if you cannot kill him right after and the wave is on his side. If the wave is on your side you can keep poking him with q and e and space his w autos by running back to turret. But if the wave is on his side he can run you down by remounting very effectively. Kled can dive you very easily by himself since, he drops turret aggro by dismounting. If you are 50-70% health he can dive you if you don’t have bone plating up pre six. Ping his roams after six, since he can roam with r.
Trading Patterns
Never trade with Kled pre six. Trades with Kled are hard losing if he lands his q or e on you. Focus on dodging before doing damage to him. The risk reward ratio for doing damage to him after six isn’t good. It’s unlikely you do meaningful damage to him that you can capitalize on before first item. You should trade on him by q’ing him through the wave and autoing for free. Be ready to stop autoing and dodge his e.
Wave Management
You want the wave near your turret so Kled cannot dive onto you with his ult or e. Try not to push the wave when you are farming with q.
Their Win Condition
Kled wants to land his bear trap on you and dash onto you. If he lands the first e onto you it’s impossible for you to escape from him, and he can kill you, force you out of lane, or set up for a dive.
