Fiora Win Condition

The win condition against Tryndamere is based entirely on acquiring an early lead and subsequently dominating the split push phase. In this lane, if you go down one kill, you're not coming back. Therefore, survival is paramount, and the basic goal is just to survive the laning phase. The lane ultimately comes down to just who's gonna get that first kill.

By successfully forcing him to miss CS and stay in lane while you back for items, you establish a gold lead. If you are able to get ahead and become stronger than him, he cannot do what he truly wants to do, which is split push and apply pressure on the map. Once you have a significant lead, the goal is to take control of split push, making him play at your pace and making him respond to you, rather than the other way around.

Tryndamere Win Condition

Tryndamere's entire game plan is built around being a crazy split push champion. If he is able to get ahead in the lane, you are not coming back. His win condition depends on: 1. Exploiting Fiora's Weakness: If he is running Flash/Ignite or rushing Executioner's Calling for healing reduction, it gets a little bit scary because you typically don't win that anymore.

2. Sustain and Resilience: He has enough sustain from hisTryndamere QQ to feel comfortable staying in the lane even after Fiora backs, especially if he lacks TP. 3.

RNG and Late Game Scale: Tryndamere's potential win condition hinges on the RNG of his crits, as he can get random crits and randomly two-shot someone even if he is 0 and 4. It has happened to everybody where he can be 0/20 or 0/3 and still come back and dominate you in 1v1s. If he survives the early pressure, he will look to split push literally ninety-nine percent of the time.

General Strategy

We must acknowledge that this lane is a little bit RNG because when he crits on you, it can be really bad. The core strategy is consistency and defensive itemization to mitigate the risk associated with his critical strikes. 1. Safety First Itemization: Rushing Ninja Tabi's (armor boots) is never a bad idea. This is the T1 priority item because he literally does no other damage besides auto attacking. Rushing Tabi's is the safer way to play the lane, and it will be more consistent.

Once you have Tabi's, you will notice how much less damage he does and how much more comfortable the lane becomes. 2. Mistake Forgiveness: Since we typically take Teleport (TP) and he runs Flash/Ghost, using TP gives you a massive advantage because it allows you to make a mistake without losing the lane, which is not the end of the world just because you have TP up and he does not. 3. Mid-Game Transition: Later, acquiring items like Executioner's Calling is highly recommended (B tier) because Tryndamere does heal a lot off of hisTryndamere QQ.

To help control him, purchasing Stridebreaker is advisable, as we want to slow him and kite them out. This is important because even if he is behind (0/20 or 0/3), he can still come back and dominate you in 1v1s. 4. Dominance: Once fed, you want him to know that you can kill him every time. Even Fiora's ulti can be used to run away from him due to the huge movement speed buff it provides.

Trading Patterns

Trading against Tryndamere requires extreme caution because you need to be really careful with your trades and not risk it with his random crits. 1. Early Levels: At early levels, you are simply trying to trade and get as many trades as possible. The focus should be on hitting the vitals and then backing up. If there is any way you can use your full Fiora QQ range to hit the vital and then back away, that is good. He will likely take Fiora EE and try to trade that way, which you should try to avoid.

2. Level 2/Early Healing: You might think you beat him at Level 2, but often you cannot due to the lot of healing on that level one Fiora QQ. 3. Defensive Tools: Ensure you have Bone Plating up; if you do, it's okay to accept the cringe trade where they auto and Q away from you. If you are not full health, however, you shouldn't waste your parry (W) because he can probably dive you. 4.

All-in Potential: When you are ready to all-in, the ideal trades involve hitting the vitals, using a Fiora QQ in and a walkout, or landing a Q auto reset Fiora EE. You should try to dance around him and play with the lane a lot. 5. Ultimate Engagement: The only way you are really going to beat Tryndamere level 6 (your ulti versus his) is if you can kind of grab the ulti and then kite around in like a circle basically, avoiding his damage. When Tryndamere doesn't have ulti, that's when you know that you just win basically 10 out of 10 times.

Wave Management

Wave management is critical for creating safe back timings and maximizing gold advantage. 1. Forcing Backs: A common tactic is pushing the wave in and then backing. This forces him to stay in the lane because he has no TP. By doing this, you can come back to lane even stronger than before while he has to stay, resulting in you only missing one or two minions. 2.

Creating Pressure: The goal is to make him make a decision: either miss this entire wave or stay and come back. We prefer him to stay so we can keep pressure on him and make him miss CS by holding the wave a little bit longer, allowing us to crash the wave for a safe back and secure a gold lead. 3. Freezing: Once you have the advantage (like boots and a gold lead), you want to hold this wave and freeze it. You don't want him to back; you want him to stay because you have the advantage on him. Freezing the wave on your side of the map is a really good time to have your jungler gank.

4. Dominating the Zone: When you are winning, you should stand in between his wave and him to stop him from getting any CS on your side. 5. Shoving Quickly: After securing a kill, you want to shove. You can use your Parry (W) to clear the wave quickly, which is faster if you line up the wave to hit all six minions, but you must know where the enemy jungler is if you do this.
