Your Win Condition
Your main objective is to secure the early lead before Camille can scale and to avoid getting hit by the outer ring of her W (Tactical Sweep). Dodging her W2 is her win condition, so avoiding it means you win the trades. You are looking to interrupt her E (Hookshot) with your W (Riposte). If you gain a significant gold advantage, your win condition is to maintain that snowball and end the game as fast as possible. When diving Camille, you must wait for her E and passive to be on cooldown.
General Strategy
You should be running the standard Conqueror setup (Conqueror, Presence of Mind, Haste, Last Stand, Bone Plating, Overgrowth). Be mindful that Camille often runs Ignite and Teleport, so tracking that Ignite timer (180 seconds) is crucial, especially because your champion relies on healing. Play aggressively early on. You can capitalize when she uses her E (Hookshot). If Camille gets a kill and freezes the wave, you may have to play conservatively and try to disrupt the enemy jungler to help your team recover. Post-six, you must always have vision down and be wary of her ultimate, as it sets up easy ganks.
Trading Patterns
Camille's passive shield timer is extremely important; left-click on the champion card to keep track of this cooldown and avoid trading heavily when it is up, as your AD damage will do nothing through the armor shield. You want to use your Q (Lunge) to dodge the outer fan of Camille's W while hitting a vital. Getting hit by the outer ring of her W will slow you by 80% for 2 seconds and heal her, causing you to lose the trade. Your Parry (W) does not always have to be used for a stun; it can be used defensively to avoid damage (especially W damage) or to slow her after she uses Q, preventing her from getting to Q2 damage. When Camille uses her E to hook onto a wall, she is still Auto attackable in the animation. A classic winning move is to Flash ahead of her Hookshot (E) to ensure you land the Parry stun, especially if she doesn't have Flash available.
Wave Management
You need to reset and shop when the wave is pushing back towards you. If the enemy jungler gives Camille a kill and pushes your wave, she can gain a free freeze, making the lane difficult. You should look to slow push and deny CS if you gain a comfortable lead.
Their Win Condition
Camille wins if she successfully lands the outer ring of her W (W2), which slows you and heals her. She also wins if she hits level six and can lock you down with her ultimate (R) for an easy gank setup, especially if your Parry (W) is on cooldown. Her ultimate lasts longer as she levels up (up to 4 seconds at level 16), which is a massive window for the enemy team to shut you down.
