Kill him before Level 6. If post-six, QSS his R, get five stacks, and kill his team.
General Strategy
You beat him freely from Level 1 until Level 6. Respect his Q range. Trick 1: Step into his E (Pull) as a gap closer, then pull him. Trick 2: If low HP, use E-Auto-R to execute him instantly while he is stunned by the E pull, bypassing his shield (W). Post-six, Mordekaiser wins in his ultimate because he steals Darius's substantial stats. Quick Silver Sash (QSS) is necessary post-six.
Trading Patterns
Stay among your minions intelligently to avoid his maximum Q damage. If he R's you, run toward him, apply five stacks, then QSS out of the death realm, which grants you a free five-stack passive for the subsequent team fight.
Wave Management
Put the wave in a position where you can go for fights, not just get poked out.
Their Win Condition
Out-ranging Darius with Q poke. Using R (Death Realm) to isolate Darius, steal his stats, and land single-target Qs. Scaling heavily if not shut down.
