General Strategy
This matchup is often decided on a macro level, as Akshan will roam and kill teammates if you don't keep him controlled, so ping missing frequently. Rush Plated Steelcaps (Toby's). Level 1 cheese: Wait for him to use his boomerang, then rank E and pull him when he steps up for his passive auto. Use Lethal Tempo for Level 1 cheese potential.
Trading Patterns
Akshan's Level 1 is described as 'horrible'. When fighting, try to position your character model inside of his model (using Ghost helps). If he grapples while you are touching him, it cancels the ability, and he is 'just dead' because his grapple is his primary source of damage and mobility.
