If Ambessa successfully secures a kill, this creates a massive advantage, making it extremely difficult for Jax to play the game effectively until he hits level six.

Once you establish a large lead, your focus shifts from merely denying him gold and experience to getting yourself ahead to ensure the game becomes impossible to lose. Achieving a kill or two allows you to look for combinations, such as a flash combo, especially if your Ignite is coming up and the enemy jungler (Graves) is confirmed dead or away.

Jax's ultimate win condition relies on his inherent scaling power and his ability to stat-check Ambessa if she makes a mistake. Jax is a strong duelist who excels in extended combat once he hits key item or level thresholds.
