A key aspect of your victory is using Ambessa's "brutal special," which is described as "insane" and often unexpected by opponents. You can easily secure favorable trades or kills by engaging Mundo around half HP in the early game, before he acquires substantial HP items like Heartsteel, as he is incredibly "squishy" at this stage.

Mundo's win condition is predicated on his ability to survive the early aggression and successfully scale into the mid-to-late game. He performs surprisingly well in extended trades because Ambessa's key cooldowns are long, allowing him to use hisQ multiple times during a prolonged fight. Furthermore, he wins trades if he successfully heals off hisW (cleaver) ability. A skilled Mundo player will make the lane much more difficult by prioritizing an armor item first (like Chain Vest) before completing health items like Heartsteel or Warmog's.
