Akshan Win Condition

Akshan's win condition is total early game dominance. The objective is to "abuse a Cassidin [Kassadin]" by preventing him from farming, ensuring he "can never play the game," and securing a "gigafed" state. This matchup is explicitly labeled the "EASIEST MATCHUP FOR AKSHAN," offering "literally free LP".

Kassadin Win Condition

Kassadin's only goal is survival. He must endure Akshan's overwhelming early pressure, hoping to gain enough gold and experience to eventually reach a powerful late-game spike. If Kassadin makes the mistake of starting Kassadin EE, he immediately suffers, as he "is not going to get any of these minions".

General Strategy

Akshan should adopt a fiercely aggressive stance from Level 1. The Electrocute rune page is recommended to maximize burst potential in short trades. Akshan should immediately alert his jungler that he is "looking to play aggressive here" for potential dives.

Once Akshan is ahead, the game is declared "over" because Kassadin "can't play the game". If Akshan shoves the wave, he must ensure subsequent roams are "very critical" and "worth like value" to maintain tempo.

Trading Patterns

Akshan must consistently punish Kassadin whenever he steps up to last hit, especially if Kassadin has no defensive tools. Akshan should ensure he walks slightly far forward so Kassadin "can't eat me and the minions at the same time". If Kassadin commits to an action, Akshan will respond with a "quick electro trade".

Early trades should aim to deny Kassadin resources, forcing him to expend "no pots" early on. All-ins are almost guaranteed kills when Kassadin is exposed due to Akshan's overwhelming damage.

Wave Management

The preferred wave state is to "let the wave come to me" or "stay more closer into the middle," often resulting in an established freeze. A successful freeze is highly effective, as it guarantees Kassadin "is always dead there regardless". Akshan should only shove the aave when preparing for a reset after an item spike, or when initiating a roam.
