Akali Win Condition
Your primary goal is to exploit Anivia's weakness in the early game, particularly before she fully scales. Crucially, you must secure a kill when her passive (Rebirth/Egg) is on cooldown. If you cannot kill the egg early due to low damage, use the initial trade/kill to force the passive and then guarantee a subsequent kill once her ultimate ability (R) is available and the passive is regenerating. Furthermore, maintaining map priority is essential, as Akali aims to constantly push the wave ("Wave Fix") to deny Anivia free resets and enable timely rotations.
Anivia Win Condition
Anivia's main goal is to safely scale into the mid-to-late game. She aims to utilize her strong range and wave clear to deny Akali engagement opportunities, forcing her to rely on last hitting. Surviving the early game is critical, relying heavily on her Rebirth passive to mitigate Akali's all-in attempts. Anivia must effectively use her
Q (Flash Frost/Stun) to halt Akali's engagement.
General Strategy
This matchup is generally considered relatively easy for Akali. The core strategy is built around avoiding Anivia'sQ (Stun). Akali should use the cooldown of Anivia's Q as the starting signal to engage. It is recommended to run the Electrocute page for burst.
In the early phase, sustain is key due to Anivia's wide auto-attack range, necessitating Doran's Shield and Second Wind to counteract poke received when going for CS. Early items should focus on burst, with Storm Search preferred over Rocket Belt for the extra burst potential. Once Akali reaches Level 6, she gains significant kill potential and should look for potential tower dives if Anivia is low on mana and cannot use her stun defensively.
Trading Patterns
Trading should be initiated immediately after Anivia uses or misses herQ (Stun). Look for opportunities when Anivia attempts to use 
Q on the minion wave. During the trade, Akali wants a successful Q passive combo, utilizing Electrocute.
While engaging, maximize the chase distance Akali has towards Anivia's tower by keeping the lane slightly pulled back. An early kill is possible, but even if Anivia uses her Egg passive, utilizing Ignite is still worthwhile, as Akali will then have guaranteed kill potential when she returns with 
R (Level 6) and the passive is down.
Wave Management
Initially, Akali should try to maintain the wave on her side of the map. This is essential because it provides a longer distance to chase Anivia during trades. Focus strictly on last hitting and avoid aggressively pushing the wave early.
However, this strategy changes significantly later, as Anivia gains extremely strong wave clear. Attempting to freeze or establish a slow push against Anivia becomes pointless, as she clears the wave too quickly. Therefore, Akali must switch to constantly pushing the wave ("Wave Fix") to maintain map priority and prevent Anivia from getting free resets.
